The Ruger American Rimfire is a practical .22 WMR bolt-action rifle built for accurate rimfire shooting, small-game hunting, and recreational use. Its lightweight black synthetic composite stock includes interchangeable modules that provide alternate comb heights for comfortable scope or iron sight alignment. The 22-inch free-floated, hammer-forged barrel features a target crown, precise rifling, and a satin blued finish for dependable performance and easy maintenance. A Marksman Adjustable trigger allows the pull weight to be set from 3 to 5 pounds. The rifle uses a 9-round rotary magazine and includes a tang-mounted manual safety. Factory sighting equipment consists of a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable folding-leaf rear sight. An integral 3/8-inch rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver No. 12 bases.
